Jacko offers support to cancer-stricken Jade Goody over phone

London, Mar 9 (ANI): King of Pop Michael Jackson has offered his support to cancer-stricken Jade Goody over the phone.

The former Big Brother star’s condition is now so weak that she can stay awake for only a few minutes at a time.

However, a pal has revealed that she was so excited to speak to 50-year-old singer that she was able to hold a full conversation with him.

The ‘Thriller’ hitmaker knew Goody as she appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007 alongside his brother Jermaine.

The singer vowed he would get VIP tickets to his UK shows for her, husband Jack Tweed and her two sons this July.

Jackson, who was in London to promote his comeback tour, heard about Goody’s plight from a friend and demanded to speak to her.

“He learned of Jade’s suffering and wanted to lend his support and comfort her at this awful time. When she was told Michael was on the phone her eyes lit up and she mustered all the strength she could to have a chat,” the Sun quoted a pal, as saying. (ANI)
