“We had seen the video and so we asked Bhattiji to make a comedy series on it. We have officially bought the rights for the concept,” marketing head Anooj Kapoor states.
“It is my original concept. Film was barely an hour long and the show is of 52 episodes. So we will be having only a backdrop of it,” clears Jaspal Bhatti.The show is conceptualised, written and directed by Jaspal Bhatti.
SAB is known to have drawn the hit concepts from column, theatrical plays and now video films. How much of this inspiration, can be turned into viewership remains to be seen

After long time Jaspal Bhatti is returning to small screen with a comedy show Thank You Jijaji (TYJ). Since my friend Sanju is also working as Mr. Sanjdhu IAS officer, in this serial . It would be a turning point in his career. So I want to thank Jaspal Bhatti ji for giving him a chance to perform . I was very sure about his acting abilities but somehow things were not working for him and congratulations to Jaspal Bhatti ji . I hope it would be the land-mark in comedy serial history.
